Expert Associate Partner
Alison Jenkins is an Expert Associate Partner in McKinsey & Company’s Operations practice. For nearly two decades, she has worked with public and private sector financial institutions, and multilateral development banks, to improve operating performance through creating cultures of continuous improvement. Alison is particularly well-known for her work on leadership and the role of senior leaders in enterprise transformation.
Alison has co-authored three books and published a range of articles on the topic of leadership, including one, “Building a problem solving culture that lasts,” that was recognized with a Shingo Research and Professional Publications Award. She has also been recognized for her contributions to the advancement of women at McKinsey.
Alison earned a PhD in Chemistry at Cambridge University, England, where she was a British Marshall Scholar and National Science Foundation Graduate Fellow. She holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Duke University where she was an Angier B. Duke scholar and graduated summa cum laude.
