Vivian Roza in the coordinator of the IDB´s Program for the Support of Women´s Leadership and Representation (PROLID). Since 1997, her work at the Bank has focused on issues of women’s political participation, gender equality and democratic governance.

She has served as an international electoral observer and coordinator of gender and development workgroups.

Her most research publication is "Political Parties and Parity: The Pending Equation".

She has a Ph.D. in Political Science from Georgetown University (U.S.), and holds a Master’s degree from New York University (U.S.) in Latin American and Caribbean Studies.
