Cynthia Groves is an adviser to the Kosoy Women in Business Program at the McDonough School of Business, which offers professional development and opportunities for a selected group of undergraduates to learn skills for advancing in the workplace after they graduate. She also provides coaching in leadership and career planning for graduate students in the Georgetown Women in International Affairs initiative, sponsored by the McDonough School of Business, and mentors undergraduate students majoring in finance. She leads a professional services consulting firm to consumer, retail, and real estate firms and sits on the board of Superhera, a woman-owned athletic sportswear company. During her tenure at KPMG, she was a senior director of business development in the global consumer product industry. A graduate of the University of Michigan, where she majored in communications, she has completed executive education courses at Arthur Andersen, KPMG, and the Harvard Continuing Education Leadership Program.
