Angeline M. Jabbar serves as chief of staff to Congresswoman Stacey E. Plaskett (U.S. Virgin Islands–At Large). She earned a B.S. in Political Science and Government with a minor in English from Howard University and a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center. With deep congressional experience, Jabbar has worked across several House committees, including Small Business, Energy & Commerce, Homeland Security, Agriculture, Oversight and Government Reform, Budget, and Ways & Means. Her policy work extends to key caucuses such as the Congressional Black Caucus, Caribbean Caucus, Rum Caucus, and the Congressional Caucus on Black Innovation and New Democratic Coalition. Prior to her current role, Jabbar served as legislative director for Congresswoman Plaskett, associate director in Mayor Muriel Bowser’s Office of Federal and Regional Affairs, and senior policy advisor to former Congresswoman Donna M. Christensen. A Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands native, Jabbar began her career at the U.S. Department of Labor, clerked in the Virgin Islands Superior Court, and has since built her public policy career in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
