Missy Robbins is an award-winning chef, restaurateur, and author. She is known for her exemplary Italian cuisine on display at her two Williamsburg (Brooklyn) restaurants—Lilia and MISIS. She opened her first solo venture, Lilia, in 2016. Since the opening of Lilia, Robbins has been nominated twice by the James Beard Foundation, once in 2017 and again in 2020, and was the winner of the James Beard Award: Best Chef in 2018. Both her restaurants have received three stars from the New York Times. Robbins was also honored by Food and Wine magazine’s Best New Chefs in 2010.

Robbins’s first book, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner... Life, was published in September 2017. Her second book PASTA was released in October 2021. She is the co-founder of both MP, a pasta and specialty foods company, and Grovehouse, a hospitality company that celebrates Italian cuisine, culture, and spirit. She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
