Suzy Walther is the chief people officer at Carta, a company revolutionizing the way founders, investors, and employees manage equity and ownership. In her position, she works with the executive team to drive bottom-line growth by aligning talent strategies with overall business strategy. Walther and her team use a combination of data-driven and human-centric approaches to create an inclusive, engaging, and innovative company culture. 

Under her leadership, Carta’s People Team has transformed the company’s Total Rewards Program, implemented a $10,000 COVID-19 child care stipend for employees, and supported the execution of Carta Inc.’s first-ever transaction on CartaX—the firm's revolutionary liquidity solution for employees and investors. Walther also co-led efforts to establish the company’s equity strategy to ensure all employees have opportunities to maximize their ownership stakes. 

Prior to joining Carta, Walther was the global head of talent for Bloomberg, L.P.  During her 22 years with Bloomberg, she navigated progressive roles in sales and product, ultimately leading and growing multi-million dollar businesses. Her extensive global operating experience gives her a unique perspective on the development and execution of innovative talent strategies. Walther graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University.
