Mindful Return LLC


Lori Mihalich-Levin, JD, is the founder of Mindful Return LLC and is a partner in Dentons' Health Care practice where she is a resident of the Washington, DC, office. Through her company, Mindful Return, she helps companies retain their new parent employees, and helps new working parents navigate the transition back to work after parental leave. In her legal role, she focuses her practice on Medicare reimbursement counseling, with a special focus on Medicare graduate medical education (GME) payments to teaching hospitals.

Lori is the author of the book, Back to Work After Baby: How to Plan and Navigate a Mindful Return from Maternity Leave. The Mindful Return program has been featured in the Washington Post, and Working Mother Magazine called Lori a “working mama guru.” Lori holds a law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center and completed her undergraduate studies at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Lori loves tickling her cuddly redheaded boys (ages 6 and 8) and sharing parenting adventures with her amazing husband.
