Director, Inclusive Health

As Director of Inclusive Health at Special Olympics International, Ms. Ruzica oversees the US-based health systems effort focused on ensuring the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities in mainstream health policies and laws, programming, services, training programs, research, and funding streams. Prior to joining Special Olympics International, Ms. Ruzica worked at the U.S. Agency for International Development on a number of high-profile, post-conflict portfolios, most recently as the Director of Technical Services in the Office of Afghanistan and Pakistan Affairs. Ms. Ruzica holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University with a concentration in International Policy and Development and a bachelor's degree from Amherst College.
