Bserat Ghebremicael (B'17)
Senior Growth Lead, Global Partnerships, Google
A graduate of Georgetown's McDonough School of Business, Bserat Ghebremicael (B’17), now serves as an advisor to the global Black Googler Network leadership team, where she helps accelerate the growth of small and medium-sized app and gaming businesses. At Google, she is an advisor to the Global Black Googler Network leadership team, having previously served as the head of experience on the global leadership team and has led initiatives from fundraising over $1M for Black-led businesses and nonprofit organizations, to highlighting stories of the incredible Black women that make up the company.
She has supported over 150 Black, Latino, and/or veteran-led startups with resources and connections at Google, which then encouraged her to become an angel investor with the Black Angel Group. Bserat also serves as co-founder and chief marketing officer for her nonprofit Omna Tigray, which supports the people of Tigray, a region in northern Ethiopia, who are currently going through one of the worst humanitarian crises in modern history. As a creator and mobilizer energized by new ideas, she recently established her own social impact consulting firm, bseratg, LLC, where she works with nonprofits and small businesses led primarily by underrepresented founders.
